The 3Es of stuttering therapy is a conceptual framework designed to help clinicians, individuals who stutter, and family members navigate their communication journeys. The 3Es model is a values-based approach to speech therapy derived from the most recent advances in stuttering science and research.
Most of the resources available here have been developed for speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and are designed to be used in a speech therapy setting. Individuals who stutter and their family members may also find these resources helpful when trying to evaluate speech therapy approaches and therapy programs.
We are continually developing this framework and adding new resources and activities. If you have questions about the 3Es, or have an idea for a resource that would be helpful, please let us know!
